drew 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2017 To ALL LLM drivers...I have been given permission to contact you all about our class and I37...The new promoter has asked me to be the spokesman for our class. Each class will have a spokesman..They want us to get together and work out any differences we have before the season opens. The new promoter has expressed his interest in our class growing with nothing changing. I want to schedule a meeting for all of us to sit down and talk. The rules will be gone over for UNDERSTANDING...Nothing is going to change however the promoter wants us to address 2 issues. I do not have anyone's phone number. If you would PM me your contact info, I will contact all of you so we can coordinate a meeting time. We will use this forum only for I do not use facebook. however we will not turn this into the fight club forum. We are one big family..we need to lean on each other to make this the class we know it can be. Now...let us begin

NickHolt 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2017 I think the Llm need new rules , get away from the street stock engineering. Sounds like you need to be at the meeting with Drew and the rest of the LLM teams. I'm sure that's the place to have this discussion rather than in the forums. arob 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2017 Question. How close are the current LLM's to Street or Naismith Street?
doitinthedirt 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2017 Both of you are way off, this has nothing to do with sts....
drew 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2017 This is for ALL LLM drivers in south texas that want to run at I37. I will not talk for STS or its local drivers. STS gave us a place to race and for that we are greatful. We have an opportunity to have a home track and that is going to be our focus. This meeting is to talk about how our class will operate at I37. IF your interested, please join our meeting as soon as I get a time and place set up. Otherwise please keep this positive and informative. AROB.....our cars unless they are leaf springs are pretty far off for most of us to convert down...Converting up is alot easier. arob 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2017 Thank you. I was just curious. Best of luck with I-37. San Antonio needs a home track for sure.
drew 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2017 Teams...I need to know if a week night or weekend would be easiest for all of us to meet. Once I have a time I will decide a location which most likely will be at the track so the STS teams wont have to drive extra and the North SA teams wont have to go farther south. Ready...Go.. JohnnyT66 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2017 It's weird to me how llm's feel the need to be so much different then any other class....and that's not necessarily a good thing looking at the car count....every year I wait for my class rules to be posted then I get my car ready and race. hray 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2017 You race a class that has national and/or regional rules.
Braunfels99 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2017 I dont think anyone is trying to be different Johnny, Drew is just doing what he was asked by our new promoter... Lets keep things positive here, if anyone has questions Andrew provided his number or you can pm him. Thanks, and cant wait to race at I37 again!
slideways40 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2017 Bottom line is, we have a place to race. I've seen some very good racing out here, let's go support our track and drivers.
drew 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2017 Guys... Jan 28th at 10 am will be our class mtg at I37. That is also a work day for the track so if you can stay and help bring work clothes and any tools you you think we may need. I will have the rules to hand out to everyone. We have a lot of stuff to go over however....I do not want to make this a day long mtg. If you do not have an LLM, and do not plan on running in our class I respectfully ask to please refrain from making negative comments on this forum. I also ask that during the meeting only driver and crew chief to be present. ALL LLM drivers are welcomed to this meeting. If I do not have your cell number, please pm it to me so I may add you to our group text msg where majority of our conversations will take place. Thanks!
