Josh38racer 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2016 I'm wondering if anyone has heard if our class is meeting to discuss new rules or if there is going to be changes .. is the factory stock thing for sure? Can I build a car to factory stock rules and be safe?
slideways40 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2016 I just need a set of 2017 Pure Stock rules. I live in Garden Ridge and will probably not make any rule meetings. Need this so I can start on car for next season. Thanks in advance.

sm002 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2016 The rules pretty much allow a factory stock now aside from pedals cam manifolds and weight.
Sanchojuan21 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2016 Sts needs to worry about its local cars... not all the fellers who come in to the big races and not support the track all year as many of us local racers do.
BobbyJack 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2016 there is really 2 classes of purestocks on the track every weekend. professionally built race cars and old bombers that have been upgraded with springs, shocks, engine and tires. hard to make rules to even everything up. I don't have the answer, but when we enter the purestock class with my granddaughter we will probably build a new racecar. jmo. Bobby Jack
