cooter48c
Good showing by the Shady Oaks drivers in Pure Stocks Thanks and I would like to say how welcome all the drivers made me feel (was told be at-least a dozen, how glad they were to see us there) we had a fun night some very tough fast cars to race with, and a all and all good track (and a bonus of dodge the dog/rabbit was new) LOL. I will surely be back to race again
HiTech
wow did I miss something I thought I was on sts sight what is this shady oaks deal .. 24 pures at sts was a great showing ..
arob
24 is pretty normal for STS making it the best class out there by far. Racing is darn good too! If just STS and SOS Pure Stocks show up in December that would easily be 50 cars just in that class. Compare to both Sportmods (around 30) the Shootout could be an even bigger event for Pures! SouthTxPromotions
Not sure if the pure stocks will show up in force without a listed purse or at least start money advertised.

arob
Lets remember 2015 was a weather disaster not only for STS but several tracks. Running the Shootout in March 2016 didn't workout well either. But the man tried and I give him credit for sticking with it between the weather and I'm sure hearing hundreds of suggestions about how to run a track like STS. 2015 doesn't really count. Ken has done much better in 2016. If nothing else for Pure Stocks a $XXX dollar amount to start will be coming out soon.I would like to know what it is also so there will be time to do something if it is not enough.Personally I'd like to see a minimum $200 to start. HiTech
yep a payout may help us decide to race or not .cuz as of right now the car isn't going to run . arob you going to have a car to run .and arob I doubt it would be 200 to start when it cost that much to enter .our car with this stock 305 motor could not compete with what will most likely show up from other tracks. a little to no payout towards the back half will park us for sure .. it is xmas time and we will just save that 200 .00.for santa .we usually don't race for the purse .but a race with this much entry makes a different ...
