New Event - $3,000/win "LoneStar Limited Modified Nationals" - SAT. OCT. 22!

Kilgore TX (8/26/16) - LoneStar Speedway (LSS) is changing up the previously scheduled event on October 22nd and replacing it with a brand new event, the $3,000 to win and $300 to start LoneStar Limited Modified Nationals. There is no entry fee for the Limited Modified teams (or any others).

It will be a complete LSS points event, with $1,200 going to the high-powered Modified division winner, $500 to win in the Factory Stocks; plus the FWD 4-Cylinders will be racing for added purse money. The Modifieds and Factory Stocks will receive full points, while all LSS registered Limited Modified teams will receive 50 'show up' points for competing in the event. New drivers will not be required to register their car to compete in this event.

The LoneStar Limited Modified Nationals feature will be 30 laps in distance, with payback as follows: $3,000 - 1,200 - 800 - 600 - 500 (5th) - 450 - 400 - 380 - 360 - 340 (10th) - 320 - 300...to start (20th). All Limited Modified non-qualifiers or non-starters will receive the standard amount of $30.

The posted LSS rules for all divisions will be enforced and we will not be making exceptions...so make sure you've read them on the track website prior to traveling to LSS. No mufflers are required in any LSS division...so race fans can hear the cars how they are intended to be heard!

Tickets to this big night of racing are just $15 for ages 12-64, while Kids tickets are $5 for ages 6-11. Seniors/Military will be admitted for $12. LoneStar Speedway is located near Kilgore TX, right off of I-20 and Exit 583 (then 1/2 mile north and 1 mile east). All pit passes for all ages will be $35.

In the meantime, we've got a great lineup of events leading up until the LoneStar Limited Modified Nationals:

On Saturday September 3rd, the LSS Fan Appreciation night will feature the ALT vs TWMA Winged Modified Shootout, plus a full night of LSS points division racing for an adult general admission ticket price of just $10!

The following Saturday, September 10th will be the annual Monster Truck Fall Nationals, benefiting the White Oak Education Foundation. Click www.MonsterTruckFallNationals.com for tickets and complete event information.

Then, action will return to the high banks on Saturday October 1st, when we host the Sprint Car Bandits Series Season Championship event. All LoneStar divisions will also race in this points event (as previously scheduled). Those of you who attended the first Sprint Car Bandits event at LoneStar on June 25th were treated to a wild 'slide-by-slide' feature race with a very dramatic conclusion.
