A Drivers Guide to This Weekends “Pat Suchy Memorial” for SSO!

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – August 23, 2016 - The inaugural “Pat Suchy Memorial” will be taking place this coming Saturday night, August 27, at Brill Motor Speedway in Meeker, Oklahoma and will be race number nine for the Sprint Series of Oklahoma IMCA Racesaver Sprint Car Series. Competition directors Jim and Ernie Messmer have been busy generating partners to add to the purse to make this inaugural event every 305-ci sprint car driver will want to attend.

All heat races for this (and all SSO events) will see the top three in each earning money. Payout for each heat race finish is as follows: 1) $50, 2) $30, 3) $20. Many thanks to Martens Machine out of Fairview; Dan Holloway; Messmer Racing in OKC and Bishops Racing Components in OKC.

Several businesses have added to the purse for this inaugural event, celebrating the life of the long-time Oklahoma City car owner. Instead of adding the money to the top of finishers in Saturday night’s feature finale, the Messmers have decided to spread the money throughout positions one through twenty. The payout is as follows: A Feature: 1) $800, 2) $600, 3) $500, 4) $400, 5) $375, 6) $325, 7) $300, 8) $275, 9) $275, 10-20) $275

The SSO would like to thank the following for their partnership for this event: Boyd Racing Engines, Jennings Garage, Brand Racing Engines, Stinger Chassis and Dan Holloway.

Official SSO rules are the same as the Racesaver 305-ci rules and can be found on the IMCA home page or Racesaver page. If you would like to compete with a championship sprint, you must use a restrictor plate, which can be provided by the SSO at the race track.

All pit passes are $30. Gates open at 5:00 PM with racing set to begin at 7:30 PM. Please remember when you arrive at the track to find the SSO trailer and draw in for your heat race starting position. The quicker SSO can get all drivers signed in the quicker officials can get heat race line ups posted.
