FORT WORTH-DALLAS (March 19, 2005) – Bandolero Bandits ace Jordan Webb and Legends Pro driver Michael Dabney were familiar faces in Saturday night’s opening weekly racing event at Lil’ Texas Motor Speedway. New faces to visit victory lane included Randy Miles (Thunder Roadsters), Nathan Wilson (Legends Semi-Pros) and Jeff Coseo (Legends Chargers).

 

 

 

Webb picked up from his perfect Winter Series season as he took the combined Bandolero Bandits/Young Guns feature. Webb took the lead on the fifth lap and was not challenged to the checkered flag. Early leader Jake Kruger finished second.

 

 

 

Dabney led the entire 20-lap Legends Pros/Masters feature. Rick Howle and Don Brown battled for second with Howle taking the spot at the finish.

 

 

 

Miles traded his Legends Car for the Thunder Roadster of Ashlee Jackson prior to the program then proceeded to hold off defending national champion Buddy Goudy for the win. Wilson recovered from an early-race incident and took the Legends Semi-Pro lead for good with one lap remaining to post his first career Semi-Pro victory.

 

 

 

Racing continues at Lil’ Texas Motor Speedway Saturday night, March 26 with Legends Cars, Bandoleros and Thunder Roadsters. The spectator grandstand opens at 6 p.m. with the first race at 7:30 p.m.
