Lucas Isaacs untouchable in Iron Man Challenge Out-Pace USRA B-Mods at Humboldt

 

HUMBOLDT, Kan. (April 2) -- Lucas Isaacs of Bonner Spring, Kan., dominated the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod main event on the final night of the Iron Man Challenge during King of America VI presented by Chix Gear at the Humboldt Speedway.

 

After the race's first and only caution early on, Isaacs continually pulled away from the field to take a decisive full straight-away win and collect the $1,000 top prize.

 

Meanwhile, fans were entertained throughout the race with a nail-biting three-way battle for the runner-up spot.

 

With a last-lap pass, Scott Bintz finished second with Ethan Isaacs and Mike Tanner claiming third and fourth.

 

Yancy Shepard rounded out the top five while Cole Denner, Andy Bryant, Alex Williamson, Travis Saurer and Brian McGowen finished sixth through tenth, respectively.

 

The next Iron Man Challenge event is Friday, April 22, at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan. The show will feature both Holley USRA Stock Cars and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods.
