It was a great weekend of racing. It started with two repeat winners. Wesley Warren started it off with his second win of the year after starting 4th. then Charles Cosper made it a second repeat winner after starting in the middle of the pack. then the SST sprint put on a good show with Jerry Hammock taking the win. There was a big field of IMCA Sports Mods with Jimmy Day winning. Last class of the night was the long awaited IMCA modifieds feature. a fun race with most of the big names stuck in the middle of the pack for most of the race. in the end the race ended with Ken Schrader making his way through the field and into second. He and David Goode sr. had a clean and fun battle for about the last 3 laps with Ken taking the high side into turn 3&4 and making it a side by side finish at the checkered flags. David Goode Sr. edge Ken Schrader for the win by a bumper to cap off a great night of racing.
