Raceteam25
At the track that I run at they sale 100 octane and 110 octane fuel. I am running a sport mod, I am asking what fuel should I be running in it? And the other question I have is can you over octane your engine and if so what will it effect? Racer26
Half 110/Half Super unleaded. Works just fine.
TexasAggie13
Yes, you can "over-octane" a motor. A fuel that burns too slow for your compression ratio will actually cost you horsepower and potentially add some wear and tear on equipment.
