Facility looked great and track prep looked to be outstanding. The only thing I thought could be improved was the sound system. The 2016 season is off to a great start thanks to Cotton Bowl Speedway and Shady Oaks Speedway for bringing to their fans the two top series , USMTS and WoO , where we could enjoy drivers who are the absolute best Modified and Sprint drivers in the country! And what a crowd at CBS ! I heard a 6000 figure used and I wouldn't argue that. South Texas race fans , these two tracks brought us the best there is so we need to support these two whenever we can for that can continue. Those in the Austin , San Antonio and Bryan College Station areas get on out to Cotton Bowl and see great IMCA and Naismith racing. Those in the Victoria area get out to Shady Oaks on Friday nights.
