Good Vibrations Motorsports Renews with the IHRA - Partnership to continue during the 2016 season

NORWALK, Ohio (December 16, 2015) - Longtime partner, Good Vibrations Motorsports and the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) recently announced a continuation of their relationship into the 2016 season. The multilevel sponsorship includes sportsman class sponsorship, presenting sponsorship at two IHRA Drag Racing Series events and title rights at the San Antonio race.

Good Vibrations will serve as the title sponsor at the San Antonio Nationals at San Antonio Raceway on April 1-2, 2016, as well as presenting sponsor for IHRA Drag Racing Series events in Cordova (June 3-4) and Edmonton (July 15-17). The partnership will also include sportsman class sponsorship in Top Sportsman and Top Dragster.

"Our involvement with the IHRA has steadily grown over the years due largely to the fact that it delivers results," said Jim Maher, Owner of Good Vibrations Motorsports. "Their staff has always been open and receptive to our requests and provide an excellent platform for us to promote our products. We're looking forward to returning to San Antonio Raceway, which is a hot bed of our racing customers. Also very excited about being the presenting sponsor of Cordova International Raceways Summer Nationals; considering this will be our first visit to that great historical facility," Maher continued.

Good Vibrations Motorsports has been a staple in the drag racing community and a proud supporter of the IHRA. They specialize in supercharged applications and mechanical fuel injection. Good Vibrations founder Jim Maher is also an avid drag racing fan and Funny Car racer with multiple victories to his name.

"We are thrilled that Good Vibrations Motorsports is continuing their partnership with IHRA Motorsports," stated Scott Gardner, President of IHRA. "This family company is based in good values and that is evident through their product line and service commitments. We are truly fortunate to be working with them again in 2016."

Good Vibrations Motorsports, based in Whittier, California, was founded by former Funny Car driver Jim Maher in 1989 as a home for high-performance racing products. With Maher's background in drag racing, and his commitment to excellence in his products and services, Maher and the Good Vibrations team are looking forward to once again partnering with one of the fastest growing motorsports properties in the country.
