I think the count was 30 or so. And the A/C decided to ice up around noon. And the WOAI (NBC) TV crew was on the way to film the event for the 5 o'clock news. So, I texted Tom Harwell, owner of Direct-Flo Air Conditioning and Heating in San Antonio, in case he could fit us in his Friday schedule if he was planning to work on Friday. I know Tom has a family and extended family in the San Antonio area and probably had no intention of leaving home and family to check out my problem on Thanksgiving. But at 12:26 Tom texts me to say he's in the neighbor's driveway and to turn on the A/C so he could add refrigerant! Are you kidding me?????? If you live in the San Antonio area and are not using Direct-Flo for your A/C and heating needs, you need to re-consider. On top of that, Tom is a long-time stock car racer and a great guy.
