RodneyRodriguez
From all of us to all of you thanks for making 2015 a great season at CTS! We had some weather challenges but all in all good competition. Great car count makes any track smile and boy we certainly have that thanks to all of you. CTS will continue to work to make the facility the best place it can be for racing in the Lone Star State. Hope everyone has a great off season! metroracer
Rodney, just a suggestion in the retrospect of fairness across the board for SSS & GRAND STOCK division rules for 2016 season. please consider splitting up the class into a class of "LIMMITED LATES" on 8" Hoosier tires & 4150 carbs for some of the SSS cars on with fabed framed old late model race cars. the other cars with stock type of chassis camaro, nova, & G-body cars with stock floor pans into a straight up " STREET STOCK" class with the Hoosier 8" tires & 4412 two bbl. carbs. as for the GRAND STOCKS, keep the the rules the same but name them "PURE STOCKS" because that is what they are in able to up the car count for that class. yes that is adding another class to your card, but simply alternate race dates!!! Â Rodney, there for sure needs to be more fairness for "ALL" of the current SSS class drivers including the Classic old '56 Chevy # 56 and for all of the older Camaros, Novas, & G-bodied oem framed cars that need to race in a deticated "STREET STOCK" division to be more fair rules than the 2015 rules were. the fabed framed cars need to race in class of their own "LIMMITED LATES" for 2016. for the GRAND STOCKS, just call them "PURE STOCKS" and I feel you will for sure bring more cars to the track for that class. if needed to fit in the full racing card, just rotate around the class race date scheduled for 2016. please, please, please think on these minor changes for your 2016 racing schedule.........PLEASE! NickHolt
I'm sure the management team at Central Texas Speedway is always interested in constructive suggestions and from personal experience I can assure you that they do indeed listen. Â Of course, they can't just implement all suggestions, but they will consider anything that is positive in nature and will add value to the racing program there. HiTech
As for grand stocks they aren't stock ..if they call them pure stocks it would be title only ..those cars are not fully stock .. Â CTS has been a great track and fun track to race at .we had a very bad year with our tps car and kept going back up and trying to get that monkey off of us .but never once had a complaint with the track workers or management and .during off weekends where they make money with the carts they always work with us to let us practice in between their cart races .fact there were times when they said we would wait for yeah to make a few laps .I always told em thanks but we will work around their race times .. GREAT FOLKS

hardheadted
Aren't rules merely suggestions on paper?

Alloutpc17
The SSS class is really balanced out. Weight penalties, motors, etc. I think Barker has a camaro car and he's fast due to the weight breaks. I just think there needs to be more inspection on the cars. Not just look for 1 or 2 things. racer61
Unfortunately yet another "latemodel" class will only further extend the already over booked schedule and will most likely irritate fans with longer tours of sitting in bleachers. As a racer i understand the strive to equal the fields but that mentality is the reason there is 10 classes racing instead of 5. As a fan adding a class would definitely be a turn off and may cause more fans not to show. Just my .
BS08
Please leave the sss rules alone ... The guys outside the top 5 need to do their homework (us included)...and seat time.....well on second thought maybe clean up engine rule alittle
