kscollier93
I have been contacted by a few families outside of our racing families and they can't run slicks or they don't have them. They do run threaded race tires. So we will not run slicks for the GETCHA $OME race. In the Sr/JR outlaws class. But still run turf tires or treaded tires. kscollier93
Yes two classes. Only reason is some other tracks run only turf.

arob
Well for next year maybe STS run turf also.Seems to be the way if ya want it to grow.I would assume it would be cheaper too.
kscollier93
arob the youth and the Jr. classes run turf tires. SR.and the open karts are race tires last season. Only reason those two classes do not and will not run turf tires next year is because a few of those drivers run in series that run race tires of some type. We invited three driver's to run in this event that are Jr Karts they may not have race tires or treaded race tires.
kscollier93
And the youth and Jr classes are growing for next year.
arob
Cool, shows what I know! I think 2016 will be a breakout year for STS.
kscollier93
Myself I going to have a big race for the karts next year with a payout of some kind. We may do a dash for cash for any type of kart class'm
Flyin34
Worry about this track. Not about the karts that run other tracks. If they want to run other tracks with different rules then that is their choice. Don't punish the others and make them spend more money just to go out and race. Sr's have never run racing tires. Racing at STS has always been good and cheaper on turf tires.
