Crown Jewel Cup decided this weekend

 

WAYCROSS, GA (October 12, 2015) - This weekend's 35th Annual Optima Batteries Dirt Track World Championship - Presented by NAPA Auto Parts will determine the ASi Racewear Crown Jewel Cup - Presented by DirtonDirt.com Champion. Heading into the final crown jewel event of the season, Jonathan Davenport holds a 25-point lead over Scott Bloomquist in the current Crown Jewel Cup standings. Jimmy Owens is third, followed by Don O'Neal and Brandon Sheppard, who are tied for fourth in Crown Jewel Cup standings.

 

The Crown Jewel Cup program will award points to drivers at the ten crown jewel events, within the series schedule, that pay $20,000 or more to the winner. The driver that maintains perfect attendance throughout the season and earns the most points, within these ten events, will receive a $10,000 bonus at the championship awards banquet. Drivers finishing second and third in the Crown Jewel Cup will also receive cash awards.

August 28th-29th - Pittsburgher 100 - Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway - $20,000
September 6th - Hillbilly Hundred - I-77 Raceway Park - $25,000
September 18th-19th - Jackson 100 - Brownstown Speedway - $20,000
September 26th - Knoxville Late Model Nationals - Knoxville Raceway - $40,000
