BJ34
How many will be racing next race?
RodneyRodriguez
They probably will not be on the schedule, not many were showing up pretty much tells Dan no need to bother. Dan sorry to speak for you but if I am correct I apologize,
arob
If only 1/4 of the CTS cars would show there would be enough.
BJ34
Its been a good amount of time since there were 15+ super street at cc last . I remember was when Dan did the first big shootout thing about 3-4 years ago
arob
In the OP days there were that many and more in every class.Best group of Pure Stock/Bomber drivers ever assembled at one track. One could argue the same for Streets also. marinedvl1982
You cant race with 3 cars. If you dont come out then business wise its not a good move. Theres tons of super streets out there and lot of yall want to race but dont show. Only ss I see is tommy, dans car, and mark.

nowrench
I just finished putting the front back together on mine going to start on the rear soon, but other priorities come before racing. However i still support the track in the stands
SamDuncan
Everyone complained about the rules so Dan opened up the rules(same as CTS) and still no cars show up. Rodney is correct why have cars on the schedule when none show up. With all the tracks closing you need to support your local track or one day it won't be around to enjoy . Â Tommy Wynd , Clare Randall , Mark Hudler and The Monroe MotorSports Camaro are the only ones who show up every race . Â JMO but maybe some of the other drivers can't handle the the 1/4 mile Bull ring lol

marinedvl1982
Well like sam said guess there scared to run the bullring. And don't use the excuse, well the track is too rough. Everyone is racing on the same surface so wheres the disadvantage. True racer can race anywhere JMO
HiTech
where have I heard those last five words before 1982 ...hitting my head trying to remember .
arob
Some dirt tracks are rough too and it doesn't stop them. The Longhorn guys came to CCS for years when they could and that was when tracks raced every week.I think it is fear they will get tore up here. And this is not unique to CCS. Shady Oaks drivers think the same about STS. I laugh at this as they sure do a good job of tearing up cars at both tracks. It is not skill as there are a ton of good drivers at both. Both Corpus tracks are fast also.So it must be fear ,real or perceived,of getting tore up. SamDuncan
I like racing at CTS when I can and believe me the SS class there has some tore up cars also but I still go when I can
top_shelf_12
Cars get tore up at every track it's the nature of the sport. You take that risk every time you hit the track, any track.
marinedvl1982
What gets me is theres alot of ss out there but wont race. Whats the point of having a race car if its gonna sit. Sell it so someone can enjoy racing.
SouthTxPromotions
Thats a problem with classes dirt and asphalt in general at most tracks. Unfortunately I look in the stands and see way too many drivers with ready cars drinking beers and on their asses instead in a drivers seat. I will be happy to bet anyone those will be the people that complaint about no track or series to race in when it disappears. I understand about economy and priorities trust me but if you cant race it or have lost the desire to then let someone else or find a sponsor to help take some of the financial strain off a bit so you can afford to even if its part time. top_shelf_12
Hey does that include one of your officials??? Lol j/k see ya this weekend and good luck to CCS/STS this weekend as well.
SamDuncan
SouthTxpromotions is correct ... i see it at every race ... Drivers who wanted rule changes (and got them) sitting in the stands drinking beer bench racing instead of supporting the track or series they wanted to race . I guess it's easier to say how fast you are from the stands instead of proving it on the track . It has always been this way and always will but a true racer will run his car no matter what . I raced at CCS when I didn't like the rules or ownership years ago but I liked racing so I raced !!!
j.j.&s.racing
i get tor up after the races.
