tps 8 josh was running the pinto today NEIL ...looks like a rock got into the timing belt THAT will end your day .bend vaLves and such . brand new motor retired so with that the car going back into its slot in the back yard for how ever long it takes for some one to want to race it .I am done .least in my mind lol.only thing I could laugh about .toughest season I want to forget as soon as possible ...and go into my retirement stage from racing that I I have done for 30 plus years full time ..there comes a time when racing becomes a job and that is what it became . .I have a ton of folks to thank and will do so later ...tps has some of the best drivers and just plain old family enjoyment to share with each other they get along and help each other out in one shape or form .I am glad to have had the chances over the years to join the tps family ...and hope it carries on for years to come ..

Sounded like you had a little misfire in yours mike ....had a few first time deals this year ..never put a motor in that would not start .never had a new motor lock up .and never lost a timeing belt from something getting into it .never bent a wheel in practice before and not hit a wall or other car in doing so ...never earned the pole and get wrecked on the first lap .racing deal ..never thought we could have a season as bad as this ..never thought we would spend oh around $9000 and finish only one race on the lead lap .and never ever thought we would not finish a season ..sad to have a fast car and have those problems ..heck even the handling went away in the last practice the first time that has happened all year .even a new tire before the race did not help that part lol. that handling part played a big factor in the motor losing the belt. if we over look all that ,we had fun .somewhere ..mike we did every thing we could to make every race and help put on a good show ..it was not easy to park it after all those battles after all the help we have received from so many unnamed at this time its a killer to live with ...

what do you want for it and every thing else bobby ..or if you want to get it running let me know ..........................on another note had an offer to get the car back out . so I am going to check the bottom end out and see if it is ok ...in the 8 ..we pulled the plug for the season for reasons of running out of racing funds and just tired ....but there is a chance the car may make the 10th ..was not planed or thought of till someone brought something up ..we had a goal for this season and sure as heck did not come near it .but we owe it to our sponsors to reconsider as well .and so many who have backed us though they all understood ...
