Graham Nearly Doubles Up - A win and a runner up still isn't a bad way to end the weekend

MILLINGTON, Tenn. (Sept. 8, 2015) - Cody Graham had a busy night at Saturday's Summit Bracket Racing Series presented by COMP Cams event at Memphis International Raceway, but it was equally rewarding.

Graham brought home trophies in two classes after winning Rick's Powder Coating Super Pro and finishing runner up in B&B Towing Footbrake.

Cody Graham won the Rick's Powder Coating Super Pro class and was runner-up in B&B Towing Footbrake this past weekend.
In the Rick's Powder Coating Super Pro final, Graham beat Jeff Bobo thanks in large part to a strong .008 reaction time in the final. Graham finished in 4.815 seconds at 140.80 mph on a 4.80 dial in to Bobo's 4.800 at 138.27 mph on a 4.79 dial.

Graham went up against Tommy Jackson II in the finals of B&B Towing Footbrake, but Jackson took the upper hand in that closely contested race. Jackson ran a 6.234 second lap 106.15 mph on a 6.22 dial to beat Graham's 6.770 at 111.51 on a 6.69.

Billy Foster Sr. won the RT Turbines DOT Street competition when opponent Ronnie Carlton left .128 seconds too early. Foster's victory lap was still a good one, running a 15.050 at 88.15 on a 15.04 index.

Jordan Houfield won the RT Turbines Junior Dragster race over Tyler Poindexter. Houfield ran a 7.919 second pass at 82.13 mph on a 7.90 dial over Poindexter's 8.059 at 80.17 mph on an 8.10 dial. Drew Tracey won the RT Turbines Jr. Dragster Second Chance Race over Breanna Bemister. Tracey's winning lap was in 8.336 seconds at 76.60 mph on an 8.31 dial while Bemister broke out with a 7.905 at 81.27 mph on a 7.91 dial.

Tom Poplawski beat Preston Davis for the Top ET title. Poplawski's winning pass was in 15.688 seconds at 88.54 mph on a 15.50 dial. Davis ran a 7.563 at 141.49 mph on a 7.10 dial.
