2015 South Texas Getcha$ome Mini Stocks $1,000 to Win

Dont think any pro sedan is making over 300+ hp. Obviously TPS is its own class and been going 41 years strong. Its an open Invite and I have talked with Mr Danielson personally about bringing our pro sedan out. Theres alot of factors in bringing one of them to dirt that you arent considering. Power isnt going to make all the difference in this race. Bring them out and have fun! It pays all the way down the line and you may not get another chance at a big money race for a class like the STS Sport compacts and CTS sport compacts.

TWO pro sedans were raced a couple of years ago with this class and a few years back 07or 08 when owen first invited them there and neither car won . I was in one of those cars and bubba ford was in his and gb won it isn't a garranty for those cars to come out and walk the park fact neither even finished in the top five . .they are not set up for dirt and in all cases the drivers wont destroy their asphalt setups for one night on dirt to much work and no time to tune it in for a large advantage ...as Joshua said a lot of factors are in play here and a lot of things have to fit in the glove ...and slicks are the tires by s,t,p rules have to be run .that can go either way with advantage . and based off sts track conditions are by feature time its a 50 .50 .deal if the track is dry enough for those tires to even get any bite ...so I say the advantage is with a stock car that has been run at sts ....

Its pretty simple. You run your home track rules, bring them with you. We will tech you by those rules. Who has an advantage vs who doesnt? I have no clue. I personally think it comes down to driving like every class at every event. I do know this much. The class has been hurting. I dont know why its hurting everyone has their opinion on that. Its a big stage and this class doesnt get that too often that includes a good payday. Only 1 winner when it all stops so might as well come out, have fun, get a good car count so we can do it again.

The Compacts are on the card for Sept 12th for anyone wanting to get practice for the big race.Racing the track will result in a better finish than a big engine will. This is a very challenging track as shown by the comments from the other classes drivers.Im excited for a chance to race any TPS cars on MY track since they always spank me on theirs.I have read they were considering adding some dirt racing to their program so this is an excellent opportunity for everyone to see the results. Even the NASCAR trucks are at El Dora now.

For me its the chance to race for a real purse and against some serious competition that makes the big races attractive.I don't worry about who wins as much as going all out for a shot. The open comp mini races are almost non existent now.I understand why the rules are so open, there are too many differences between tracks and series to make everybody happy. We will see which series has the best rules package for this track in this race.

Remember the invitation has been open at STS for the past couple of years. This one race is no different.A 3 day party with some racing thrown in? Outtasite. I think some other classes are also racing.

If TPS drivers dont want to use their slicks for whatever the reason I will allow they to run the STS Compact tires per their rules. G.B. if you can post exacted what the STS compact tire rule is we can give them this as on option.

OK,the 2013 STS tire rule was any street tire with any treadwear number,205 max diameter with 50 to 70 aspect ratio, any wheel size 13 to 17 inch, any combination is allowed. Also the same year we merged the RGS Thunder cars and their tire rule was max of 235. Edna uses Hooser dirt bosses,CTS and others say only what came on the car.The Texas Thunders at CCS tire were 7 inch max thread. That's why the compacts are using the 2015 rules posted on the homepage.
