Battle in the Bullring

Recommended Posts

Two days away from the premier asphalt touring series (TALMS) and the longest running series (TPS) returning to the Bullring of CC Speedway, along with the Dwarfs and local Bombers and Super Streets.

TALMS will be competing in Race #3 of the season and the top 5 are separated by less than 15 points. John Heil leads Gary Box by 7 points and ten behind is Anthony Monroe, Derek Legg and Tyler Box close behind Monroe. Cody Beddoe and the rest of the TALMS drivers consistently put on close races with intense battles throughout the field. Put walls around the track and these guys amp it up more.

The Pro Sedans look to return to CCS for Race #7 (4th on the track with 3 rain outs). Everyone will be looking to dethrone Sergio Hexel as his domination of the series seems to keep going and going and going. Points are tight behind Hexel with Lisa Sandoval in second (38) Jeff Meeks on her tail (37) and Sterling Beck in striking distance (33). Bob Sherland and Josh McCain tied at 27 points, Cesar Garrido with 26, James Hogan at 25, Tommy Goldman and Mike Knotts with 24. Tight battles up and down the field of TPS drivers and a mix of Rookies and very experienced drivers as well. TPS is always good at CCS so it should be a great show.

The always exciting Dwarfs along with the CCS Bombers and return of Super Streets to round out a busy night of racing action Saturday Night.
