NCRA Late Models Tackle Belleville This Sunday Night

Park City, Kansas June 30, 2015 - Three events have been completed for the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products late model tour and there is a tie atop the point standings as the tour makes their first of two holiday weekend appearances at the Belleville High Banks Speedway in Belleville, Kansas this coming Sunday night, July 5, to wrap up the Independence holiday weekend.

Dan Smith, who won the season opener at 81 Speedway in Park City back on May 30, is tied with winless Chris Kratzer. Joe Gorby is just 45 points out of the lead while veteran Delbert Smith and Enid, Oklahomas Damian Patocka round out the top five.

Sixth through tenth in the standings include Ryan Gustin, Randy Timms, Lyle Shepard, Dusty Leonard and Jeremy Petty. Gustin and Kip Hughes have also picked up $1000 victories this season.

This year crate models are allowed to compete with the outlaw motors and will also earn Nesmith Weekly Racing points to go towards their point championship as well.

An added bonus for this event, Belleville will give an extra $100 for all drivers who start the nights championship feature finale, thus those drivers will earn an extra $100 to go along with their $200 start money for the feature.

Also on the race card will be the series modified and mod lite divisions.

Sunday night at the Belleville High Banks will see gates open at 5:00 PM with race time slated for a 7:30 PM start time. The Belleville High Banks is located 2.0 miles north of US 36 on US 81, then 0.4 mile southeast on M St. to 7th St., then 0.1 mile east (near the water tower, at the North Central Kansas Fairgrounds). Grandstand general admission is just $20 for adults and $10 for kids.
