2014 Nitro Harley champion, Mike Scott will make his return to competition at the Mopar Nationals. The Canadian native, intended on running the entire Nitro Jam season in 2015 but work commitments did not allow his full-time return. He will race in both Canada races this year with his former team, Turner Racing.

Four dragsters are scheduled to compete in an epic battle between the U.S.A. (Bruce Litton and Dominic Lagana) and Canada (Bob Leverich and Paton Family Racing).

The IHRA announced the return of the Crower Pro Mod class in 2015 last year, marking the first time the class will compete at Grand Bend Motorplex after a multi-year absence from Nitro Jam. The Pro Mod class debuted with the IHRA in the early 90s and was born out of the IHRA's Top Sportsman class.
