Grant Enfinger Earns a Top Five Finish at New Jersey Motorsports Park

 

Grant Enfinger, driver of the No. 23 Allegiant Travel Chevrolet, earned a fourth-place finish after starting seventh at New Jersey Motorsports Parks Thunderbolt Raceway (NJMP) in the ARCA 150 presented by Unique Pretzels. This marks Enfingers second top-five at NJMP. As a result, the Fairhope, Ala. native still holds onto the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards (ARCA) championship points lead by 40 points over Josh Williams. Crew chief Jeff Stankiewicz and Enfinger strategized throughout the race and hit pit road on lap 59 under caution for four tires and fuel. The call was an effort to help gain speed on the restart, as the team hoped to beat the leaders on new tires. Enfinger remained a top 10 contender for the majority of the race piloting the No. 23 Allegiant Chevrolet to a solid fourth-place finish.

We had a really fast Allegiant Travel Chevrolet today. Jeff (Stankiewicz, crew chief) and the No. 23 team did a great job this weekend. Restarts were crazy, and we got shuffled back but overall, it was a great day for our GMS Racing team. We came to NJMP to bring home a solid finish and succeeded, and kept the points lead.
