xmod97
ECO-Stock Front windshield must be removed from all cars, also make sure air bags are removed Before next race. See updates in General Rules marked in RED.
Wayne Walker
The windshield rule, for the Ecos, is effective immediately. No grace period. The General Rules updates are mainly for clarification.
adorken
Why the windshield rule change mid season?
Wayne Walker
Safety and clean up. Should have never been allowed. If you want to run Lexan, that's ok. No glass.
top_shelf_12
Who had glass in a race car? Worse yet who brought it to a dirt track that everyone knows has rocks or packed mud coming up? Lesson learned the hard way I suppose.
CougarGT
I did. Raced plenty of times at CBS last year without issue. Mostly run my car at CTS and many of the Ecos run windshield there. Everyone always said the mud would be an issue but I never had any. The rear wheel drive cars kick up mud and dirt but us FWDs just pack it under the the front wheels. If bars are what they want, bars is what they will get.
top_shelf_12
That makes sense. Didn't realize anyone allows glass, not blaming anyone just meant it from an observational standpoint.
Wayne Walker
You can use Lexan if you would like or you can put bars. The car that lost his windshield had bars also. Glass should never be in a race car, no matter the class.
