(April 27, 2015) Looking to get their 2015 going after back-to-back rainouts, the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region will take on the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks” with the fourth annual Impact4800.com Open Wheel Showdown on Saturday, May 2. Brining the ASCS Warriors for action at the three-eighths mile oval, the Saturday spectacular will include Lucas Oil POWRi National Midgets as well as the Impact4800.com W.A.R. Sprints. The inaugural event on May 5, 2012 was won by Randy Martin. The 2013 edition fell victim to Mother Nature. Randy Hibbs is the defending champion of the Impact4800.com Open Wheel Showdown, taking the lead just past the half-way point of the feature to earn his first ASCS Warrior Region victory on May 3, 2014. Saturday, May 2 will see gates opening at 5:00 P.M. with racing getting underway at 7:30 P.M. (CT).
