SATURDAY May 23 - Pit Gate Opens 10:00am. Note: TPS will pit in new NORTH area by track
entrance road. TPS participants (crew & family) must sign correct TPS sheet and wear correct wrist band. Pit fire extinguisher is required).

11:10am - TPS Practice times: 11:10am-11:20am and 1:00pm-1:10pm

(Note: All practice, qualifying & race times are firm)

 

NOON ---- Deadline for (1) one gate bonus point

 

2:00pm -- TPS Drivers Meeting (non-attendance or no practice receive rear race grid penalty) TPS exempt from CTS meeting(s)

 

3:46pm -- TPS QUALIFYING TIME TRIALS -2 Laps- (time was changed from 4:00 in final CTS schedule)

Qualifying line inverted by order of entry received.

 

6:40pm -- TPS FEATURE - 25 Laps heads-up -

(race start time is estimated) NO GRID LIMIT, dnt's at rear by entry order.

 

Note 1: If time trials are not held or completed, Feature Race will start by order of paid entry received followed by 2014 Point Standings.

Note 2: All times posted here represent UPDATES received on Monday, May 18 from Central Texas Speedway.

AFTER FEATURE - Post Race TPS Inspection: weight, carb check, P&G. (CTS Trophy presented to TPS Feature Winner, 2nd & 3rd recognized).
After last CTS Feature Race is completed, a CTS live music concert will entertain on stage. All TPS drivers, crews and fans are invited.

IF POSTPONED - Per 2015 TPS/CTS verbal agreement, Rain Date for TPS Race #2 to-be-announced (TPS Race #3 is May 30 at CCS)

ENTRY FEE ------ $60 - per car if paid two weeks in advance by mail/check & completed entry form. Apr 25 has been applied to May 23
NOTE: Entry fee refunded (less $10) until car passes thru Pit Gate. Must sign TPS or Minors clipboard.
LATE ENTRY ---- $70 - per car if paid late at track in pits (late $10 deposited into TPS Treasury).
CTS PIT PASS -- $30 - (Fri & Sat - Driver - $50, Crew - $45) (Rain checks good on rain date. Under 18 needs parental release).
GRANDSTAND - $15 - per person ($12 for Military, Police, Fire, Students (with ID) Children 12 & under & Parking Lot is FREE

TPS RULES - TPS 2015 Rules & Specifications (Note: Windshields and rear windows are mandatory or car is issued a large and increasing weight penalty at each race in non-compliance). Driver must receive by scanner @ 154.570 MHz at all times when on track.

TRANSPONDER - Must have an AMB Transponder on at all times when on track. TRANSPONDER is required to be timed & scored.
(2 transponders are available FOR RENT @ $50. Reservation is required. Call David Mackey at 512/913-9364).

INVITED CARS - 4 Cylinder (only) CTS & CCS Sports Compacts accepted provided in compliance with their rules and weigh by TPS rules. Invited car upgrades OK: CTS & CCS may use: TPS 13” Hoosier Racing Tires or DOT tires, may use OEM Fuel Injection, may use after-market suspension parts, may lock drive wheels, may not have external nerf bars, must use rear view mirror(s).

MEMBERSHIP - All drivers are required to hold valid 2015 Texas Pro Sedans membership to drive on track.
One race TPS memberships are available @ $25. Car number priority entitled to TPS full season $100 members.

PURSE - All sponosor, CTS money and most entry fees go into the purse. TPS Officials are paid from appropriate entry fee deduction. Feature pay off next week by U.S. Mail.
(NOTE: A minimum of one race lap is required for purse payment from CTS to TPS).

TROPHY - A Trophy for the TPS Feature Race Winner will be presented by CTS (TPS 2nd & 3rd place will be recognized)

POINTS - Points awarded per 2015 TPS Rules - 3 points to fastest new record (16.374) - fastest non-record wins 1 point

K&K INSURANCE - Insurance coverage limits is assumed same as 2014: Liability - $1,000,000 (each occurrence), Medical Excess - none, Accidental Death & Dismemberment - $1,000,000 (Note: Injury must be reported on race night to the CTS Track Manager).

TPS TIRES - Hoosier F 60 8.0/23.0-13” tires sold by SS Motorsports at Central Texas Speedway.

RACE GAS - VP racing fuel (110 octane) sold by SS Motorsports at CTS. Price per gallon TBA (or bring your own).
