Allen1racinh
With this point system: Cole does not have any chance for a top-5 end of year finish, even if he won all the remaining races. Why race? He's 70 plus points behind before the 2nd race and at a 3 point differential between places, he can not make up one bad race. Think about it, you miss one race, wreck in practice, go to a wedding, get sick, or you're broke...you're out for any decent end of year finish.....Just my thoughts. NickHolt
Good point.... The most obvious solution would be to have a "one race drop' rule... but I imagine there are other possible solutions. Feel free to make suggestions here. racer61
What about cutting the starting (or ending) points #. Example if 100 is the starting max, maybe use 30. or whatever. Or start at 3 and go up. Just something to be fair to those who run into bad luck somewhere. No need to put someone in a no win situation in a non purse class when they have a bad weekend. Everybody has em. just my 2 cents.
NickHolt
Someone texted me about giving the lowest points of the day to anyone who showed up and didn't make the feature... Like if the last points awarded were 70, give the non-starter 67. Keep the ideas coming. Nick

Use Cole for example, If 5 cars showed he would get more points then if I had the same thing happen when 12 show up.
top_shelf_12
Maybe a minimum point amount say 12-25 gets 50 points as long as they attempted to race.
