DCRP Announces Driver Appreciation Night in July!

Lonnie Wheatley, DODGE CITY, Kan. (March 5, 2015) A big night on the 2015 Dodge City Raceway Park slate will be even bigger now, as the July 24 card will be a Driver Appreciation and First Responder Night at the 3/8-mile clay oval in southwest Kansas.

The annual Friday night event that kicks off the popular Dodge City Days Festival will feature URSS Sprint Cars along with IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA Hobby Stocks.

The twist this time though is that each driver will be allotted a specific number of tickets to hand out with prizes awarded to those that have the most tickets presented at the gate on race night. The grand prize will be a Hinchman racing suit with all variety of prizes distributed throughout the night.

Drivers in all five of the tracks championship chase classes will be a part of the action, with 20 general admission grandstand tickets provided to each driver competing in at least 80% of the scheduled events leading up to July 24 and a lesser amount of tickets to those competing in less than 80%.

The drivers with the greatest amount of guests attending the Driver Appreciation Night will be entered into a drawing for the grand prize Hinchman Racing Suit with all variety of secondary prizes on the line as well.

This is a great opportunity for us to thanks the drivers and teams that support Dodge City Raceway Park, track promoter Tommie Estes, Jr., commented. We want everyone involved to come away with something, whether its the drivers suit or any of the variety of products well have available.

Details regarding the distribution of tickets will be revealed as the event draws closer.
