We will keep a seperate point standings for those that qualify to be in the rookie points race. We are looking for a sponsor to have the naming rights and exposure but meanwhile here is what we are doing. 1. If you have won a championship in any class except Bomber or Pure Stock your not eligible. 2. If you have raced in 6 or more STXSSS races then you are not eligible. 3. Your age nor will your experience keep you from racing for Rookie of the Year. As part of this years registration you will check mark if you want to race for rookie of the year. SouthTxPromotions Posted February 10, 2015 Author Report Share Posted February 10, 2015 Monty Chamberlain dba C and C Services has jumped at the opportunity for naming rights of our new 2015 Rookie of the year award and is sponsoring $250. The rookie award is special to Monty as he barely missed the being track champion in his rookie season in 2005, but did win fan voted Favorite Driver. In 2006, he came back and won the track championship. Monty said "New drivers, both male and female, are vital to the sport and I'm proud to be a sponsor of this award".
