Looking forward to getting back on a track again, may be on both surfaces next year. heck i have some plastic wrap around here some where ..cheap stuff ///. h.e.b brand .. hammer will fix most of it ..i think maybe two to three little dents are from joshua the rest is from others ......top shelf ivan will be a rookie next year he will have to learn how to drive a car that gets around the track ok...ivan we know you will do just fine with that car..........funny how ivans voice changes a tiny bit higher when he talks about next season ...it think its the scared voice you know when your butt tightens up just a wee bit. HiTech Posted December 27, 2014 Author Report Share Posted December 27, 2014 The green is not going away . just moving over to tps. and joshua has a lot to learn with the car and class he will be racing in . nearly .three seconds faster and more at cc and about that at cts is another world ..1000 lb lighter than he is used too the driver alone will take 100lb out of it ... just about the same power under the hood quicker smaller shorter wheel base closer to the ground g.force is felt more cts will suck you out of the seat lol. cant throw this car around . then he has to learn what the car is doing where and why and what each tire is telling him .much more thought than what he is used to gotta pay attention to all that and then race against some of the best drivers out there .big order to fill ...and thats why i love him for moving out of his comfort zone from what he has raced before over to this ...he will only grow and make him even a better racer...school time ...some dont think these cars and drivers are all that ..they could not be more wrong .it isnt that symple ...oh and i will be learning right with him .i have to go to school as well .just i have a head start .. Randy Larsen Posted January 5, 2015 Report Share Posted January 5, 2015 No it's not the old red bug Larry used to race, I actually was given that bug by Larry years ago, it was sitting beside his shop and he wanted me to have it to fix up and race, I took it to Houston to my Dads shop to work on, and when my Dad passed away, his psycho 5th wife wound up selling the bug and a bunch of my parts just to be a b-t-ch, so sadly the car is long gone, Mel Krauss, Larrys son, contacted me about the bug to see if he could get it back and I had to tell him the same sad story..............
