WITH all the bs going on with these shootings and such ..i get mad and shake my head over those who think their son should not have been shot and such...i am not in that officers shoes ....... i hold my son to high standards but he screws up .he lives with it and deals with it ...as same my mother did to us .......tough love some say ..we need more of it ...

I have been pulled over .had handcuffs on before .had nice cops and rude cops of all color and never did i disrespect them .and in every case we both walk away with a smile and respect for each other ........

law inforcers have it tough at times but they love what they do and we all need to know they do it for the love of saving us from the bad .damn sure aint all about money ..

JD BOCK . was a very fine officer one of the best friends public had he loved race carsand people ..he lost his life protecting the public from scum ...this officer and i became friends after he pulled me over for spinning my tires as i left the stop .he asked me why i spun em .the stop sign i SAID. said Spin Tires on Pavement .that broke the ice and we both laughed at that ..FOLKS I offten wonder over all the years he lost his life and every time i hear an officer got shot of shot someone i think of him and some who have lost sense then..... Did i contribute to his death ...I WAS THE LASTperson other than his radio calls and the scum who shot him four times with his own gun three in the back of his head execution style ..i kept him from leaving the store we were both eating at a ham and cheese with cheetos .i offered him that lunch and paid for it ..not knowing it would be his last .20 minutes later he was gone .he went in a direction he was not really going to go in the first place and 2 minutes later the chase was on .... so i wonder ......

TODAY going through the walmart parking lot i came upon an officer parked and doing his paper work .he saw me pull up sort fast stop hard .he looked me right in the eyes and said what the heck with a smile

I TOLD HIM I DID NOT HAVE A CARD ..SO ILL DO IT IN PERSON ....THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU AND OTHER OFFICERS DO TO PROTECT US .....AND HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS .........

FOLKS IT ISNT HARD ..........I THANK ALL YOU MEN AND WOMEN WHO WORK THE BEAT ....

We are very fortunate to have several law enforcement officers as members here. Chase Stapp, DL Wilson and Uncle Bob Mireles are three that come immediately to mind.

Feel free to chip in with the names of other Texas racers who wear the blue.

Don't ask me why because I'm not a very religious person, but I have the honor of offering the invocation at Central Texas Speedway, Houston Motorsports Park, South Texas Speedway, Cotton Bowl Speedway and probably a few others that I have forgotten. I probably ramble a bit in some of those prayers, but the one thing I make sure about is asking the Lord to protect those who protect us as 1st responders and who serve in the military.

Good Bless our law enforcement officers.

Nick

I agree Mike. I work around Law Enforcement people every day in my job. They may not be the front line officers but none the less they are officers enforcing the laws of the United States. They are great people. I respect them all and everyone should respect them as well. I like to watch COPS on the Spike Network. I laugh every time someone does something that makes the officer use the stun gun on them and they fall to the ground screaming. When an officer gives you an order, you obey. No problems!! I informed my children that if they ever get in trouble and get arrested they can stay there. I will not bail them out. They got their selves in they can get them selves out. Merry Christmas to all on the Lone Star Speed Zone
