Lcherry
The last time my car was on the track was 2007 or 8. Have I missed any updates on the car?
NickHolt
We're actually using the basic Allison rules from back in the day. There is a "new" head that is now legal since the "old" head is no longer available. Use of the "new" head requires a weight penalty under the rules. Please contact James Huff for details about the differences between the two heads... it's a bit out of my department! Nick
Allen1racinh
Not sure when it was added or if required. I believe it was recommend to add an extra roll bar tube from roll cage main hoop down to bar under dash in the middle of the windshield area. Maybe nick or huff can clarify and post pictures if required. I know we added it to all of our cars.

huff37
I once had an instruction sheet from Allison on this bar, however the pictures above pretty much tells the story. Only thing left out is bar size. It must be 1 1/4 x .083 wall thickness. This bar has a "name" that I can't remember to save my hat.
direct-flo
Mandatory- beginning in 2008 - ALL Allison Legacy Series cars MUST have the new Tuthill Bar added to chassis roll cage. This 1-1/4" .083 round bar will be welded between the dash bar and the top hoop of main roll cage. This bar will be located 21" from the inside of the passenger side window post bar (REFER to Yellow Box area). The driver side of the top of the bar will be centered with the center top hoop brace bar.
