cblgdc
There were some rule changes for 2015 ,should be getting out shortly. biggest change 4412 carb only, gas or alky other changes were to get rid of some gray areas.
sprintsrule
Who made the changes? I have an engine and carb being built that will not work now if that is a change. Not arguing but I need to know before I spend more on parts I cannot use.
BobbyJack
it was voted on by people that came to meeting saturday, if you werent there you didnt get a vote. there was about 10 drivers there.
sprintsrule
We were told we didn't need to go. I don' t really care either way. I just want to race against a bunch of cars so if that helps I am for it. Any other changes or clarifications before I buy more parts?
cblgdc
Carb rule was discussed by everyone at meeting last year, and everyone was on same page at that meeting to have one carb, nothing new.
cblgdc
Ted made the corrections Saturday and was going to type up and have them proof read .
sprintsrule
Carb rule was discussed by everyone at meeting last year, and everyone was on same page at that meeting to have one carb, nothing new. I wasn't at meeting last year and I was going by current rules so it is new to me. But AGAIN, I am not arguing. I just want to know what has changed so we can continue with building car and engine. toybox racing
Was told we didn't need to be at rules meeting. Nothing was going to change this year. You guys are bound and determined to ruin this class!
BS08
Just curious but what was the reasoning behind going with the 4412 only?...lol .. That was the only reason we could half ass keep up..!!!
soaker
I was told it was because they do not know how to check a four barrel. I believe the rule on a 650 four barrel is vacuum secondaries or add weight something a six-year-old can check. Looks like it'll be Street Stock's only this year ? cblgdc
Clarification on rules that were already there is going to be the main change, carb rule was from last year meeting tech guy doesn't have to look up each week to make sure at weight for what carb.toybox damage to class was done this year already.should be some . Schedule announce ment that would help everyone want to go to sts hope to see everyone on the track
BobbyJack
I AGREE BUT VOTE WAS TAKEN WITH THOSE THAT SHOWED UP, I DONT THINK ANYTHING IS CONCRETE. IF PEOPLE THAT WANT TO RUN IN THIS CLASS WANT TO HAVE INPUT I QUESS WE NEED TO HAVE SOME KIND OF MEETING, I HEARD THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE A PURESTOCK MEETING DEC 13TH. BobbyJack
I AM SURE THEY WILL ANNOUCE A MEETING AT SOME TIME, RIGHT NOW THEY ARE BUSY WITH TRYING TO GET READY FOR DEC RACE AND MAYBE HAVE A THANKSGIVING DINNER.
cblgdc
I would think they should have the rules rewrote soon before anyone gets fired up,get a look first!
soaker
I'm pretty sure the carburetor rule also said if you run a 750 you just have to add weight 750s do not come with vacuum secondaries so just by looking at it you know you will have to add weight. Not hard to tech that either.
top_shelf_12
Bobby I'm sure and I really do want the Shootout and 2015 go well. Judging by the dates released by the dirt tracks, I may not be able to make too many of the dates left open for CCS. cblgdc are you talking about the LLM rules or Pure Stock? I'm guessing LLM. Best of luck with the class, hope all of y'all can get on the same page and keep it going.
cblgdc
Yes LLM,track personnel were very positive at meeting and really want to grow the class.

BS08
I figure it would be as simple as a decal on car corner post that says ---4 barrel = 3250+......just a thought...shouldn't have to look that up....imca cars have a claim decal displayed... Just sayin
WATERBOY
Gentlemen, Do we need to schedule a additional meeting to further discuss the 2015 LLM Rules with any drivers who were unaware of the meeting? I can have the proposed rules changes for review and open discussion. Weather permitting - Dec.13th 2PM at Turn 5 Bar? One topic I would certainly like to discuss is engine setback. The current rule is #1 spark plug may not be more than 11/2 inches from left ball upper ball joint. Would it be possible to arrive at a center line of rear-end to back of engine bell housing measurement? Please advise.............Thanks
