I grew up going out to Pan American Speedway in San Antonio TX. watching him race.

He had the # 77 and my uncle Alan Nuendorff was on his pit crew. Those were the days.

I heard he is on here some. Just wondering how he is doing.

Here are a couple pics of Ford. A friend of mine sees him now and then over around Pipe Creek. The coupe in the bottom or larger picture is the one I believe exists -in pieces- at a friends house in Cibolo.

I ran into an electrician about two years ago, when he noticed my racing tattoo, and my team shirt, he asked me if I knew of a retired racer named Todd Ford. When I told him that
I used to watch him race at Pan American Speedway but, I hadn't seen him in 40 years, he said, that Todd Ford was his next door neighbor, and they would sit in the garage in the evenings, and he would talk about racing in the old days.

I believe, if I remember correctly, that he lived in the Pipe Creek, Bandera area. I know it was in the hill country north to northeast of San Antonio. The guy invited me to come out some evening or weekend and he Would make sure that Todd would be around.

Unfortunately I lost his number, and don't remember who he worked for. I could kick myself for that missed opportunity.

Darn, it took me so long to type this, that Texas Tom slipped in on me! As electronically as I am, I should not try to play BINGO and post at the same time.

Thanks for the help Tex, at least it I feel better knowing that I remembered something right for a change. Lol!

LOL Tommy!

It is RL Alexander that I was referring to. RL also lives in Pipe Creek and sees Todd at a local watering hole. Think he told me that Todd sometimes hangs out at the belt sander races held at Jake's in Pipe Creek.
