FORD, MOPAR, Other GM Engines

Recommended Posts

Are other manufacturer engines besides Chevrolet allowed in the series?

Currently there is specific P/N information regarding intakes for Chevrolets in the rules...but no mention of parts for any other makes. That is main reason for the question.

Secondly, If I want to run a Ford engine, is it OK to install in a GM chassis...since there are more GM rolling chassis available!

In short, if I wanted to put a stroked 302, 351W, or 351C in a Camaro...would that be OK?

Regards

First since I have spent a great deal of time answering questions this week its time for an introduction. I dont have a clue who you are or whom your helping. You obviously know me.

Sorry no stroking of any kind allowed! On or off the track.

You are free to mismatch make of chassis and engine. ford in checy, dodge in ford.

Our new rules include ford and dodge specs.

Take a look at the Nesmith Street Stock rules. This is the best street stock racing I have ever seen anywhere. We're not far from this now. Very comprehensive set of rules and a lot less work for you guys trying to write new rules. Just a thought. Mike
