Texas rainouts this weekend ---

Recommended Posts

We needed the rain, but we always hate to see racing events rained out...

So far we have:

ASCS event at Golden Triangle Raceway Park (Friday)

Cotton Bowl Speedway (Saturday)

CrashFest at Cotton Bowl Speedway (Sunday)

Houston Motorsports Park (Saturday)

Grayson County Speedway (Saturday)

Devil's Bowl (Saturday)

Yep, I wrote to Mary Ann and suggested that if folks find themselves in the middle of a drought, they should call MAN Racing Promotions and schedule an event. Not really funny, but you get the idea.

Someone needs to open a track in Kerrville.....Seriously, it never rains there....San Antonio got 3+"...out around Hunt they got 2 3/4"....But the deck under my 24" Weber BBQ Grill was still dry this morning....

Devil's Bowl can be added to the list...Wish one of our tracks was running tonight HiTech, thinking of going to Battleground but not sure if I want to make that drive...

I am very sorry for the confusion about Battleground. I was informed that it had rained out by what I considered a reliable source so it was posted on here as rained out for an hour or so until I was informed otherwise.

Looks like a pretty good turnout and cars are still pulling in. This must be a big Dwarf/Modlites track because there seems to be a bunch of them.
