Rain Cancels DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals at Fairbury Speedway

By Jordan Morris

FAIRBURY, Ill. — July 12, 2014 — For the second time this year, rain forced DIRTcar and Fairbury Speedway officials to cancel Saturday night’s DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals action at Fairbury Speedway, three weeks after the originally scheduled event was also plagued by rain.

No reschedule date has been announced.

With five races remaining in the grueling six-week long tour, defending champion Mike Harrison clings to a diminishing 11 point lead in the 2014 championship standings over Jacob Poel.

The DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals rejoins the DIRTcar Summer Nationals on Sunday night at Vermilion County Speedway in Danville, Ill.
