May 31 - Deadline for two (2) bonus points by receipt of entry form & paid entry.
(Note: June 14 "Roll Overs" were fully paid on May 17)
June 7 - Deadline for one (1) bonus point by receipt of entry form & paid entry.
(Note: Late June 14 entries will be fully paid with mail in entry form and check on or before June 7th)

June 13 - Friday optional practice - 2:00pm until 10:30pm - $20 per person in pits. (Two day Pit Pass Fri/Sat - $50)

June 14 > 10:00am < Pit Gate Opens (TPS cars must pit in assigned area. Pit fire extinguisher required at each TPS trailer.

SATURDAY - TPS participants must sign correct TPS sheet and wear correct wrist band at CTS. (Please tell your crew and family)

11:00am - TPS Practice times: UPDATED TIMES > 11:00 - 11:10pm and 12:55 - 1:05pm (these times have been UPDATED and changed from original posting of Race Bulletin #4)

12:15pm - UPDATED Deadline for (1) one gate bonus point

2:45pm - TPS Drivers Meeting (non-attendance or no practice receives rear race grid penalty).
(Optional CTS Driver's Meetings at 3:20 and 3:40pm)

4:00pm - (UPDATED time - Qualifying - 2 laps

 

7:00pm - (UPDATED time) - TPS FEATURE - 25 Laps heads-up, NO GRID LIMIT, dnt's start at rear by prior 2014 TPS Points then entry. Note: If time trials not held or completed, Feature will grid heads-up by 2014 Point Standings prior to this race date, then by new entry order.

AFTER FEATURE - Post Race TPS Inspection: weight, carb check, P&G.(CTS Trophy presented to TPS Feature Winner, 2nd & 3rd also recognized)

After last CTS Feature Race is completed, a CTS live music concert will entertain on stage. All TPS drivers, crews and fans are invited.

IF POSTPONED - Per 2014 TPS/CTS verbal agreement - Rain Date for TPS Race #4 is Aug 9 at CTS. (TPS Race #5 is June 28 at CCS. For weather information call TPS Race Director David Mackey cell 512/913-9364 or office 512/280-4869 (Keep your cell phone on race day)

ENTRY FEE ------ $60 - per car if paid two weeks in advance by mail/check & completed entry form.
NOTE: Entry fee refunded (less $10) until car passes thru Pit Gate. Must sign TPS or Minors clipboard.
LATE ENTRY ---- $70 - per car if paid late at track in pits (late $10 deposited into TPS Treasury).
CTS PIT PASS -- $30 - (Fri & Sat - Driver - $50, Crew - $45) (Rain checks good on rain date.
Under 18 needs parental release.

GRANDSTAND - $15 - per person ($12 for Military, Police, Fire, Students (with ID) Children 12 & under & Parking Lot is FREE

TPS RULES - TPS 2014 Rules & Specifications (Note: Windshields and rear windows required or be issued a large and increasing weight penalty). Note: Each driver must receive scanner on 154.570 MHz at all times whenever on track.

INVITED CARS - 4 Cylinder CTS & CCS Mini Stocks accepted provided in compliance with their last year (4 cylinder only) rules and weigh by TPS rules. Invited car upgrades OK: CTS & CCS may use: TPS 13” Hoosier Racing Tires or DOT tires, may use after-market suspension parts, lock drive wheels, may not have external nerf bars, must use rear view mirror(s.

TRANSPONDER - Must have an AMB Transponder operating at all times when on track, AMB Transponder is required to be timed & scored. (David Mackey has 2 transponders FOR RENT @ $50 each. Reservation required. Call David at 512/913-9364).

MEMBERSHIP - All drivers are required to hold valid 2014 Texas Pro Sedans membership to drive on track. One race TPS memberships are available @ $25. Car number priority goes to TPS full season $75 members.

PURSE - CTS will pay $75 for each TPS car which participates in Feature Race parade lap(s) or starts race to add to TPS purse. All sponosor and CTS money and most entry fees go into the TPS purse. TPS Officials are paid from appropriate entry fee deduction. Feature pay off next week by U.S. Mail.
(Note: TPS Purse Payment will be made to pace lap or race participants only).

TROPHY - A Trophy for the TPS Feature Race Winner will be presented by CTS
(TPS 2nd & 3rd place will also be recognized)

POINTS - Points awarded per TPS Rules - 3 points to fastest new record (16.374) - fastest non-record time wins 1 bonus point.

K&K INSURANCE - Insurance coverage limits: Liability - $1,000,000 (each occurrence), Medical Excess - none, Accidental Death & Dismemberment - $1,000,000 (Note: Injury must be reported on race night to the CTS Track Manager).

TPS TIRES - Hoosier F 60 8.0/23.0-13” tires will be sold and serviced by SS Motorsports at Central Texas Speedway. For more information call Jerry Spencer - 512/784-1192 at Central Texas Speedway, Kyle, TX.
Note: Jerry Spencer will not service TPS Race #5 on June 28th with the SS Motorsports trailer at CCS.

RACE GAS - VP racing fuel (110 octane) sold by SS Motorsports at CTS. Price per gallon $9.00 (or bring your own race gas).
