Would like to recognize several teams for accomplishments.

#8 Kevin Sullivan for winning his first shootout heat race. Had the 4th fastest time. Started on the pole and used it to pick up some drop back cash. Then took advantage and won the hard charger bonus picking up alot of passing points.

#33 Mereda Major for claiming the last qualifing spots in B Main #2 and making her first shootout race.

#19 Jarrett Barber and team for rebuilding a destroyed car from a month ago and with little to no practice come out of the frame shop to a 6th place feature finish.

#36F Frank Okruhlik taking a brand new car never seen a race track to 3rd fastest in time trails, a heat race win, leading the majority of the Feature event and eventually finishing 4th in the Feature.

#13 Kris Workman for taking his first career laps friday night working through some part failures and coming back Sunday til engine woo's kept him from qualifying.

#17 Aaron Leddy and crew getting their car into the B Feature and qualifying after major part failures and hustling to get it ready at the last second.

#36 Lucky Gilbert making a last lap go for broke B Main pass out of 4 to claim the final qualifying position.

#9 Brian Morris is a rookie street stock driver but he prooved he has what it takes to get it on with anyone. From 19th to 7th with his best effort thus far. Expecting more noise from Brian this year and look fwd to watching his success.

The (2) B Main races were some of the best races of the night with alot of really good cars. I was in the stands and was amazed at the quality of cars on the track and how fast they were running. I take my hat off to the teams that have stepped it up this year and the B Mains were living proof how far along this class is.

Lots of success stories at different levels for many of our teams. We are excited and happy for each one of you and this weekends accomplishments. I am sure there are more so feel free to tell us about yours.

Not everyone unfortunately was able to go home with the accomplishments they wanted. Its always hard to see friends have a tough night and thats where our racing family needs to recognize and do their part to provide support and if needed help.

#11 Shawn Kline after coming back in Kline fashion he won his B Main Qualifier only to find out during entermission his night was over with a cylinder head issue. Tough night for a tough driver.

#1 Chuck Barber after working through a new rear suspension and making setup changes he found himself moving up into a qualified position in the B main until his ignition started failing in the car. The issue eventually dropped him out of the needed spot and into harms way taking on alot of body damage.

#40 Mike Lyons found himself in the B Main having to check up to avoid a potential crash in front of himself on the wrong side of a bad call. After being sent to the back it went from bad to worse when he was delt a unwarranted blow to his RR tire under caution on a restart knocking him out of the race. We are working with Mike in hopes of his return to the next race after a bad night in which his was a victum in each of his accidents.

From a series view point a very successful show with 37 cars. Even though we knew it was coming there is no way for a new officiating crew to be ready for the excitement and action packed racing that STS produces. Our officials are growing and learning under difficult circumstances. Not an easy job. We recognize our issues, who it effected, how it effected them and will continue to push to get better each race. We know its difficult to keep a cool head under the circumstances but we do listen and appreciate everyone who came and talked to us about their issues. From a personal standpoint I will continue reiterating about rough driving and retailiating against another. Each issue will be looked at objectively. Just because a flag wasnt throw or caution didnt come out doesnt mean its over and behind us. We are still looking at different battles that occured throughout the night. Some were unavoidable hard racing but some were rediculous and are being ruled on. We all wake up Monday morning going to work to pay the bills and racing isnt it. Its our job to create the safest enviroment possible for our drivers. We all are quilty for stupid actions on and off the track but we will never use our cars and skills as weapons for retailiation against another car under any circumstances. If your team lives and dies by the "Eye for an Eye" slogan then you will be doing that elsewhere. We have more then enough teams to continue moving forward and racing without that mess. We also have alot of sponsors and their business names associated with the series and we wont stand for that type of exposure to them. We are very proud of what we are about and how we go about our sport. We hope you are proud to be part of it!

Gotta say, there was great racing action all over the track during the B's and A Main! I would say most fans got their money's worth just in those three races alone.
