Grid Position After a Competition Yellow and a Incident Yellow

Recommended Posts

The "ROYAL PURPLE" NASKART Pro Racing Series normally has a a competition yellow flag at oval tracks when racing 27 laps. When the competition yellow comes out, we re-grid according to position from the last completed lap. This is because there was no incident and it gathers the field back together. And if you are not sure of grid position...the Race Director will let you know your position or you can look at the lap board and see the top 5 positions at CTS or the top 3 positions at HMP. If you are passed after the start finish line after the yellow comes out...you can re-grid in your current position.

When there is a incident yellow and you are involved in a self spin or caught up in another's spin, when we re-grid, you must go to the back of the field to re-grid. This is how it works in ALL series and even ours. You DO NOT get to re-grid in the position you were in if you spin or get spun. All involved will go to the back of the field to re-grid according to Race Director's order. If you do not re-grid in the correct order, you will be not be scored any further and DQ'ed. This will be very black and white. You must grid correctly. We have ALWAYS raced this way.

If the race director makes a istake and does not call out the order...have respect for your fellow racers and grid as properly as possible. If the Race Director makes a mistake, a NASKART Pro Racing Official may overide the call if it is very obvious a mistake was made. Do not think the gray area will save you. You will be taking your chances if you feel it is not spelled out for you when it is obvious in racing in general.

When you go out on the track you must have all your Safety Gear, Such as (obviously) Helmet, neck brace, driver's suite, Raceceiver ( to hear track officials), gloves & shoes. NO Tennis Shoes. If you are caught during or after the fact without any of your gear, you will be DQ'ed. It is very important to have all your gear for obvious reasons. We race hard and close to each other....and the level of racing this year has shown that it will be aggressive. So always protect yourself. And race others as you want to be raced. You drive aggressively and slam someone...don't cry when it happens back to you. But if you get yourself or someone lese hurt in the process....how is that going to feel to you and others. RESPECT each other on the track.

thanks
