We have had very low car counts for the first two series races of the season. I apologize to the fans and track promoters for the low turn out, but I can't force drivers to show up. We are counting on this weekend to be a make or break weekend , if we don't have at least twelve cars show up we will be canceling the rest of the points paying season. We will still be running the races scheduled at the tracks but I will be returning all drivers entry fees and sponsors points fund money. Once again I apologize to the fans and especially to the drivers that have showed up to the first two races as I feel I am punishing the ones that have put the effort in to get to the track. I will continue to promote Late Model racing in South Texas and look forward to being at the track with family and friends, but it takes too much effort to put a series like this together with a $ 10,000 points fund and not have the turn out. I know when you guys came down here before it was a series (STS) it was a pretty decent race for second. Not a knock on the guy that won at all since he is a good driver and knows these cars really well. Anyhow, good luck and hopefully the next race won't be the last one. The LLM class has grown nicely here but been awhile since I've seen Late Models here, the one night I mentioned earlier and SUPR came here a few years ago.
