It was a good turnout as was Sundays labor day race. Both races were covered with action throughout the field and both races only had 1 caution each. Couple cars had issues from Friday nights practice and were not able to run either events. Very nice to not have any turn up cars Saturday with Sunday only having 1 three car tangle on the last lap finishing under green/yellow flag.

We are closing in on finishing our 4th season and this past corpus race was clearly the fastest, most competitive group of cars yet! Every lap was two and three wide racing with the top 12 cars. Want to congradulate Rob Slott and Wade Jones for their performances and action that came down to a last lap pass for the win. Also several drivers with great runs Bill Stevens, Greg Carlucci Jr., Jarrett Barber, Will Arnold, Nathan Renfro and Shawn Kline. Also noteable driver Anthony Gordon took the drop back money ($384) and made it back to 10th position. Most of these drivers drove the 25 laps with cars next to them, in front of them or three wide all race long. Fans were treated to a heck of a race!

Saturday night was fun. It was a challenge to keep the car straight with only having one brake. Being the left front. And it was exciting for me to be the only big tire car in the top ten. But I think ill be switching over to the little tires soon. That way I can compete. The last couple laps were real interesting. But all in all once I figured out what was wrong with my car I had fun. And the 2X sorry for the push but had nowhere to go.
