Speedster41
What type of tire is best suited for the texas thunder series? How long will it last?
NeilTPS
Speedster41 Perhaps the following reference material would be helpful in your tire selection. From 2004 Texas Pro Sedans TIRE RULES: "All TPS cars must utilize the Hoosier TUSA F 60 8.0/23.0 x 13”–OR- Hoosier F60 8.0/23.0 x 13” racing slicks". Note: Both Hoosiers are exactly the same. We expect the same tire rule to be in effect in 2005. Neil Upchurch Race Director Texas Pro Sedans
Speedster41
I THOUGHT YOU HAD TO RUN A TREADED TIRE AT CORPUS TO RUN IN THE LOCAL SERIES. JUST WONDERING ABOUT THAT TYPE OF TIRE.
top_shelf_12
I think it's any street tire up to 15" and 8" wide. Check the rules on the website or see if Owen could help us out. The website is http://www.ccmotorspeedway.com, from there you can follow links to the rules of the Texas Thunder class.
