thumper Posted March 12, 2013 Report Share Posted March 12, 2013 Rio Grande Speedway in McAllen will have their season opener March 23.Its a great time to get the cars ironed out to start the season.Karts,Thunder cars/sport compacts,pure stocks and limited modifieds.Rules are the same as South Texas Speedway.Very smooth dirt 1/4 mile dirt track that requires finess to be fast.Very easy on cars.New owners and management.Experienced tech official,Eddie Tabor.BYOB for stands and after race pits.Secluded location,no neighbor problems.Great place to have a fun evening.Friendly people.Challanging track,chassis is king.In the words of The Rock,...just bring it!.
