TPS 2013 Completed Schedule

 

38th season - 9 races @ 3 tracks – March 23rd thru November 16th

 

Texas Pro Sedans Race Director David Mackey has announced race agreements between Corpus Christi Speedway (CCS), Central Texas Speedway, Kyle (CTS), San Antonio Speedway (SAS) and the Texas Pro Sedans (TPS) for the 2013 racing season. Highlighting the schedule is the resumption of TPS racing at Corpus Christi Speedway with six events, the return of the Texas Pro Sedans to tracks in Kyle, Texas for two races and to

San Antonio for one race.

 

The 2013 season will be the 38th consecutive year of TPS four cylinder stock car series racing in the southwest.

 

Race Date - Race format & remarks

March 23 ----- CCS – Qualifying Time Trials, 35 Lap Feature Race

April 6 -------- CTS – Qualifying Time Trials, 30 Lap Feature Race

May 18 ------- CCS – Qualifying Time Trials, 35 Lap Feature Race

June 22 ------- CCS – Qualifying Time Trials, 35 Lap Feature Race

July 13 --------CCS – Qualifying Time Trials, 35 Lap Feature Race

August 10 -----CCS – Qualifying Time Trials, 35 Lap Feature Race

September 7 -- SAS – Qualifying Time Trials, 20 Lap Feature Race

October 5 -----CCS – Qualifying Time Trials, 35 Lap Feature Race

November 16 -- CTS– Qualifying Time Trials, 25 Lap Feature Race

January 11, 2014 - The 2013 Texas Pro Sedans Awards Dinner (4:00pm -7:00pm, Little Red Barn, SA)

“will heat races ever make a come back with TPS”?

 

David's reply “heat races were dropped in the contract agreement with CC Speedway due to cost, wear and tear and time restraints”.
