NeilTPS Posted September 4, 2004 Report Share Posted September 4, 2004 Rain Postpones Sept 4th TPS Races at CCMS San Antonio - The Texas Pro Sedan series race scheduled for September 4 at C.C. Motor Speedway has been postponed until September 11. Several days of on and off rain showers produced muddy pits and infield at the Corpus Christi track. Texas Pro Sedans Race Director Neil Upchurch said “I talked with C.C Motor Speedway track manager Owen Pittmann. We regret that the races can’t be run on schedule. Fortunately, our contract anticipated a makeup date, which is next Saturday, September 11th” Entrys received for September 4 will be carried over to the September 11 makeup race date. Pit gates will open for TPS entrys on Saturday, September 11 at 3:00pm. The originally published hourly schedule will be followed as written. The racing program will start at 8:00 pm. The next race on the Texas Pro Sedans schedule after Corpus Christi is Saturday, September 25 at the Thunder Hill Raceway, “8th Annual Stock Car Spectacular”.
