This is a race that always generates a lot of sponsor interest as evident from last year. We will keep the original post updated with the sponsor recognition as it rolls in.

I am definitely going to do my best to get to this one and do Live Updates. By all accounts, Aaron was a class gentleman.

Nick

" By all accounts, Aaron was a class gentleman. " That would be a correct statement.

Special Announcement: There will be 26 cars start the feature in Limited Mods.

25th starter will be a promoters choice

26th starter for the A-Main will go to the highest bidder and the money generated for the 26th starter will be provided to the Aaron Hudgeons Memorial Scholarship Fund. Bids will be taken from anyone (team trying to place their car in the A-Main, fan who wants to see someone in the A-main that didn't qualify or any other interested party). Again, all funds generated from the bidding will go to Aaron Hudgeons Memorial Scholarship fund.

24 will qualify. 25th and 26th will be determined as noted above.

Some friends of ours from north of Houston took the leap of faith this year to re-open 105 Speedway near Cleveland. We understand it is a big hit so far. I got a call from my friend and brother to our chassis builder, Mike Martin who is 1/2 of the ownership at the reopened track. Mikey called me and advised that they are sponsoring $200 towards this purse.... So, Thank You to The Legend 105 Motorsports Park for your $200 sponsorship!!!

Unfortunately, it has rained 5 inches in Edna today after 6 straight days of rain, and more is predicted all the way into Saturday. The place is saturated. We are sad to announce that we need to postpone this event and wanted to get the word out as soon as possible so everyone can plan for other venues. We are truly sad to have to postpone this one, but we will work with all sponsors and reschedule this event fon a date that will be the least impacting to all other tracks around us.

We are so blessed for all of the support of the Aaron Hudgeons Memorial race and it is one that is close to our heart to organize.

The street stocks will be added on the reschedule with the same purse honored. It just won't be a series event for the Shootout as their policy is to drop any unheld event.

Thank you to everyone for your support of this important event, and we will let everyone know of a reschedule date as soon as we look at all possible options.

-Monty
