xrj145
My dad passed away of cancer a couple of weeks ago, He wasnt a driver but the owner of a few cars in the mid 70s-early 80s that were driven by Levi Taylor#1Mercury Cyclone Stocker #30 Mustang Hobby car and a Terry Labonte super stock (Late model) #0 Tom Riley #24 Slick Yeoman and #07 Tom Riley, Dad would always say if you werent going out there to win then you shouldnt be out there at all, and to him winning is what it was about, he was the first to introduce a pro built engine (Prototype Racing Engines) to cc speedway and argued with Tom Riley that a 7.00 gear was way too much and turned it 10,000rpms smoking the tires down the straightway, He won alot of races and a few championships at Hi way 16 and Texas World Speedway. Ill miss you Dad. Paul Cheatham jr
