Guys that raced at Longhorn in Austin Texas. Speed-Orama? SAS Ward Heinrich and Ron Kinney? Anyone out there can and willing to share advice, info, tech tips on racing Mopars on Dirt/Asphalt and 1/8 mile drag racing. What shops and where at. Bobby Posted June 7, 2011 Report Share Posted June 7, 2011 I don't know if you recognize the name Howard Willis, but he is an extremely succesful Houston area dirt racer who got his start in Mopars. You can reach his crew chief by joining the forum Houston Dirt and sending a PM to the user "Mudbuster". He posts most on the Battleground Speedway portion of the forum. If he was not with Howard at the start he would almost certainly be willing to put you in touch with him. Both he and Howard are "good people" (not to mention extremely knowledgeable). Regarding former TIDA-LM and Texas Pro Sedans car owner/driver Ward Heinrich, he retired from his Opthomology practice in San Antonio several years ago. While he still lives on a part time basis in San Antonio, he also lives in Connecticut, also part time. He called me recently and told me that he has two ice racing cars in which he competes in the wintertime sport near Albany, New York.
