Friday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be severe. Cloudy, with a high near 81. Southeast wind around 10 mph.

Friday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be severe. Cloudy, with a low around 71. South southeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 89. South wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 73. South southeast wind between 10 and 15 mph.

Looks to me like there's a 50% chance the storms will miss Kyle, so I'm planning on being there both Friday and Saturday.

I'm in Branson, MO. It's a real frog drowner here right now. Electricity has been out for an hour now. How the heck can I get any riding in like this?

Weather radar has been showing very, very light stuff (probably more like drizzle) off and on for a while now.

All the major weather has been going North of the track.

Yeah, we need a good drenching here in the San Antonio area, but we can wait until Sunday...

A small shower just missed the track to the Northwest. Phew!

Just got a call from the track and it's DRY at THR as of 6:15 P.M.

Weather is closing in on THR, but I guess they got several hours of practice in. This wave could miss, but it looks like it's on a direct line towards the track...

Actually, Nick, it started raining here at the track about an hour ago and is still raining. Hopefully it will finish up soon and we'll be good for the rest of the weekend.

THR always dries out quickly. Hopefully the sun will be up all morning and we'll be on schedule all day.

Shows no rain today or thunderstorms and just a little cloudy, but high of 92 and 94% humidity. Ouch. Going to be a sticky day.

We made it all the way through without a drop. And the races went very smoothly (for the most part) tonight.
